・Responsible for managing whole activities to prevent accidents such as product accidents and misleading advertisements in quality of product and sales claim.
・Dual head as Vendor Compliance Manager
・Primary responsible for in country vendor performance on quality of product
・Education of vendors in QVC requirements ensuring product is sourced responsibly partnering with the global team to ensure alignment
・Responsible for making decisions regarding the quality of all consumer products in conjunction with QVC QA guidelines and relevant Legislation.
・Advise and inform Senior Management as to the best decision to take regarding interpretation of the relevant legislation and product compliance.
・Responsible for overall QA budget management and optimize costs of Quality Assurance activities such as an inspection, visit and training with the consideration to customer trend and the situation of the company.
・Determine personnel assignment and work contents, and consider the overall optimization to enable efficient works with the consideration to risks.
・Set important goals in the team, and establish good working environments and proper organization to achieve them
・Line management of QA managers and Vendor Compliance team members including coaching, development, PDRs, performance management, assignment of work etc.
・Provision of technical support, coaching, knowledge transfer, technical problem resolution, to relevant members of the QA Team.
・Over 8 years’ experience in the quality department of a manufacturing and/or retail environment.
・Demonstrable experience of setting, maintaining and managing quality standards in relation to directly sourced consumer products.
・Experience of working with an existing portfolio of products, as well as working with suppliers on new products and product initiatives
